But when a government spends billions on ways to kill and destroy, somebody must pay for it.
One jet plane, for instance, costs $100 million, and that is only the entrance fee. Billions more have to be spent to get these gadgets flying properly.
Over the years Australia has purchased helicopters, submarines, etc. and been ripped off something awful.
Our enemies, yet to be named, were very considerate not to invade us while we were disarmed.
So the battlers should be grateful the federal government thinks so much of their freedom that they are willing to starve them to keep them safe.
Or they could send the planes back and get a refund.
The billions could be used to give our poor a better way of life, and even use a few million to put the pollies’ pay and perks up a bit.
They are also doing it tough.
