Their upset win over defending premiers Gerringong was clearly not a good omen, as they have lost six in a row since then.
But they are still only one win outside the top five and with a bye in the final round, they could still make the semis if they win their next two games.
The key will be whether they remember how to win, because another loss will surely see them miss out on playing beyond the regular season.
