Matthew John Lynch, 39, of Judith Drive, was charged with knowingly drive motor vehicle in a manner that menaces another person.
Evidence before the court said between 6.40am and 6.50am on February 25 at Yerriyong, Mr Lynch was driving an Amarok utility on Braidwood Road in a manner that menaced cyclist Phillip Rice.
Magistrate Chris McRobert heard evidence from a number of witnesses, who alleged Mr Lynch drove extremely close to Mr Rice, who was riding on the edge of the road.
Magistrate McRobert adjourned the matter, which will continue at Nowra Local Court on September 11.
