Police and RFS firefighters responded to a large fire in a pile of wood on a Millbank Road property at 5.20pm.
The fire had allegedly reignited by strong winds after the property owner had burned off several days before.
It quickly spread to other piles of wood and took six fire brigade units to douse the flames.
Greenwell Point Road was closed due to heavy smoke and firefighters were still blacking out the area on Saturday morning.
