The flashing lights are designed to slow drivers down in school zones and make the roads safer for children.
Local schools to get flashing lights include Sussex Inlet, Nowra East, Shoalhaven High, Tomerong, Falls Creek, Nowra Hill, St Georges Basin, St Mary’s Star of the Sea Milton, Milton Public, Huskisson, Terara, Culburra, Callala, St Michael’s Catholic and Budawang Primary School, Milton.
The rollout will start across the Shoalhaven in November and should be completed by the beginning of the new school year.
