THE vice president of Women's Golf Illawarra, Barb Howsan presented the prizes for the annual Vincentia Golf Club WGI Trophy Day last Tuesday.

Jill Varty won division one with a nett 70 and Dale Holland division two with a nett 69.
Sue Martyn was the runner-up to Jill with 76 nett on a countback and Daphne Bailey was the runner-up to Dale with 72 nett again on a countback.
Carol Holmes was the delighted winner of third division with a nett 72 from Liz Pinkard with 75 nett.
The scratch score winners were Jenny Elliott with 95, Carole Andon with 101 and Jan Coyle with 115.
Jenny Elliott also won the putting with a great 26 putts. The long drives were won by Marie Mennie, Dale Holland andViv Hewitt respectively. The nearest the pins winners were Frances Savige, Dale Holland and Carol Holmes. Next Tuesday will be the monthly medal for August.
The men on Wednesday played a Stableford and Peter Robinson had a long overdue win with a great 40 points from Dave London with 39 points.
The vets on Thursday played a two-person ambrose and there was a three-way countback but the winning combination was Duncan Kennedy and Linda Drazenovic, from Claude Holmes and Di Smith and George Grant and Tom Baker all with 45 points.
Steve Rodgers was the only nearest the pins winner. Tomorrow will be a nine-hole Stableford from 12.30pm.
The men on Saturday played a single Stableford and the winner was Dave Wilson with a good 41 points from Dave London with another good 40 points.
The nearest the pins were won by Steve Rodgers, Brett Parnell, Dean Myers and Gary Morrison. Next Saturday will be the monthly medal for August.
