THERE was no women’s games played in Saturday’s Shoalhaven Hockey Competition as these were played on Tuesday night to make up for the masters competition on Saturday and Sunday.

On Tuesday Ashley Williams (2), Danielle Dolby (2), Alicia Duncan, Sharna McIlwain and Sarah Kenny helped St Georges Basin White defeat Shoalhaven Heads Blue 7-nil.
That same night Allsorts Orange defeated St Georges Basin Red 2-1.
In the men’s competition Kangaroo Valley celebrated a 5-1 win over a depleated Shoalhaven Heads team.
Valley’s Alexz Crawford drew first blood, however Lachlan Butfield hit back right on the half-time buzzer to even the scores.
After a great half-time gee-up, Valley scored two goals in first two minutes of the second half and that blew the game out.
Dave Anstiss, Steve Brown, Will McConnell, Mitch Wilson and Alexz Crawford all contributed to the five-goal win.
Burrawang had to settle for a 2-all draw with Allsorts in what was a thriller match.
Allsorts looked to have the game in the bag at 2-1 with just minutes to go, however a last-minute goal to Burrawang evened the game.
Burrawang’s goalscorers were Jack Donovan and Sam Bromfield, with Matt Lees and Aaron Lloyd scoring for Allsorts.
In the final men’s game Bluejays were too strong for a young Basin side, which never gave up all day, taking the win 9-nil.
In the juniors games Callum Mackay (2), Danny Ball, Kai Jones, Alaistair Urquhart and Scott Crisafi led Bluejays to a 6-nil defeat over Allsorts.
Bluejays were always in control against a young Allsorts side, which continues to improve each week.
In the other junior game, Kangaroo Valley were too good for St Georges Basin, taking the win 3-1.
Basin were undermanned but really stuck it to Valley.
Valley’s Joe Cuttler was first to score and the half finished with a 1-nil scoreline.
In the second half Fergus Priest got a great deflection in front of goal for Valley’s second goal.
Basin scored next with a great team goal that was well finished by Mikaela Rickwood.
Valley’s James Hayes scored a great individual goal to seal the game.
