At 10.30am Thursday two women entered the office of a charity organisation in Berry Street, Nowra.
It is alleged that one of the women stole a staff member’s handbag and used a credit card from the handbag to purchase alcohol, cigarettes and other items from various shops in the area.
Police were called and began an investigation, including reviewing CCTV.
About 5pm on Thursday an 18-year-old Bomaderry women attended Nowra Police Station.
Police searched the woman’s car and alleged they found property bought with the stolen credit card.
The woman was charged with larceny and five counts of dishonestly obtaining property by deception.
She was granted conditional bail to appear before Nowra Local Court on August 11.
