From little things, big things grow…

GETTING grubby was a great way to spend Friday for the children at Clipper Road Children’s Centre.

The children were busy planting trees and vegetables for National Tree Day.

With shovel in hand, Clipper Road Children’s Centre educator Jade Herron helped the young boys and girls revamp the garden.

“It’s a fun day for the children,” she said.

“It’s a great way to get them involved in Planet Ark’s National Tree Day and learn respect for the environment at the same time.

“This is the first year we have done it and it’s been great.”

The plants were donated by Bunnings Nowra and Yard‘n’Garden.
