At 10.30am two women entered the office of a charity organisation in Berry Street, Nowra.
It is alleged that one of the women stole a staff member's handbag and used a credit card from the handbag to purchase alcohol, cigarettes and other items from various shops in the area.
Police were called and commenced an investigation, including reviewing CCTV.
About 5pm on Thursday an 18-year-old Bomaderry women attended Nowra Police Station.
Police conducted a search the woman's car and allege they found property purchased with the stolen credit card.
The woman was charged with larceny and five counts of dishonestly obtained property by deception.
She was granted condition bail to appear before Nowra Local Court on August 11.
