WINNERS ARE GRINNERS: Kennedy Tours celebrate a comfortable win on Tuesday night.

THE Shoalhaven Women’s Basketball competition on Tuesday night started with a mothers and daughters hour of play at 6pm before two games kicked off at 7pm.

The closest of the games was between Triple O's and Shoalhaven Floor Sanding, with the O’s just claiming victory by 10 points.

The final score was 54-44.

On the other court the Pink Ladies were mounting a strong attack against Bomaderry Vets.

The women in pink were just too strong for the vets, with the Pink Ladies taking the win 56-36.

Top point scorer for Pink Ladies was Gabby Leslie with 18 points, and Rebecca Johnson was best for Bomaderry Vets with 18 points.

In the 8pm timeslot the young and enthusiastic Kennedy Tours took on competition newcomers Jessie's Girls.

The strong Kennedy Tours team kept their scoreboard kicking over without feeling the need to completely annihilate Jessie’s Girls, something the newcomers were definitely grateful for.

Despite being outplayed, Jessie’s Girls managed to get 20 points on the board, however they were no match for Kennedy’s, which took the win 49-20.

Top point scorers for Kennedy were Tasman Phillips and Jadine Adams with 18 points apiece.
