A 25-YEAR-OLD Sussex Inlet man has been charged in relation to the armed robbery of a man and theft of a vehicle in western Sydney last month.

Police allege shortly after 3am on Tuesday, June 24, three men attended a property on Henry Lawson Drive, East Hills, where they threatened an occupant of the property with a metal pole, before stealing his Lexus sedan.
Investigators from Strike Force Lagul started inquiries into the armed robbery of the vehicle, and on Tuesday arrested a 25-year-old Sussex Inlet man at Nowra Police Station.
The man was charged with armed robbery and demand property with menaces, before being granted conditional bail to appear before Nowra Local Court on August 8.
Strike Force Lagul was formed by the Property Crime Squad and Shoalhaven Local Area Command in April 2014 to investigate a number of aggravated break, enter and steal offences in southern region.
To date, six people have been arrested and charged.
Officers are investigating the theft of a Toyota Hilux dual cab, a blue trailer and a hydraulic lift from parkland in Booderee around 3am on Thursday, April 10 and an aggravated break, enter and steal at a service station on the Princes Highway in Falls Creek about 4.15am the same day.
Also a ram-raid robbery of an ATM at a service station on the Princes Highway, Wandandian, shortly after 5am on Monday, April 14.
Over the course of their investigation, detectives also re-examined a historical break, enter and steal offence at a bottle shop in Woronora (Sutherland Shire) on Monday, December 2 2002;
Officers also started inquiries into an aggravated break, enter and steal at a tobacconist in Vincentia around 3am on Saturday, June 7.
Detectives attached to Strike Force Lagul are continuing investigations.
