THE Nowra CBD will be getting a facelift over the next financial year with Shoalhaven City Council allocating $310,000 in the 2014-2015 budget for CBD renewal.

The Egans Lane Park upgrade and other civic improvements were allocated $200,000. The sum of $40,000 was allocated to the planting and maintenance of street trees and the supply and maintenance of banners was allocated $20,000.
Council also moved to develop a banner policy which will consider placement, replacement and the opportunity for possible business sponsorship.
The shopfront improvement program was given $30,000 and $20,000 was allocated to the CBD laneway artwork project.
Council is seeking interest from owners, operators and other groups that can contribute to Nowra CBD renewal projects.
