On a wind swept day, Col Burgess only needed 36 points to win the A grade section.
The runner-up was Kurt Gacki who double bogied the 17th hole, but still managed to survive on a countback from third placed Paul Harris, both on 35 points.
The B grade winner was Mark Anderson, who teed off in the first group and took advantage of better conditions to record 42 points.
Runner-up was Kel Turner, who survived on a countback from third placed Fred Curbishley, both on 39 points.
The C grade winner and playing in his first competition game was Jonathon Clark, who scored a whopping 47 points.
Runner-up was Brad Menhennett with good score of 39 points.
Third place went to Terry Wynn with 38 points.
You needed 35 points or better to win a ball.
Last Thursday’s open competition was won by Dennis Rutherford with an impressive 40 points in windy conditions.
Runner-up was Errol Raddatz with 37 points and third place went to Alan Liebert with 35 points.
Last Sunday was a mixed fourball Stableford competition and the winners were Kel and Val Turner with a good combined score of 46 points.
Runners-up were Bob Bowden and Pat Collier with 44 points.
Once a month the club has the Sunday mixed, so why not grab a partner and have a game?
This Saturday is a single Stableford event.
