Nowra lost to 14-15-99 to 4-8-32 and again the importance of getting off to a good start was crucial.
The Blues went into the first break behind 36-6 and you cannot afford to give a team like Shellharbour that kind of a start.
Nowra did try hard in the second quarter but down 9-8-62 to 3-3-21 at the main break things did not look good for the Blues.
The Blues, particularly in the final quarter, struggled to match the visitors.
Nowra did not kick any goals in final term and the best it could manage was two behinds.
Elwyn Roberts gave Shellharbour a target up front to kick towards and he booted six majors.
After the encounter, Alex Legge, Brad Clark, Jeremiah Lenisaurua and Nick Griffiths received the Nowra match awards.
The Blues no doubt will be looking forward to taking on the Demons next week at Tom Smith Oval.
