Thanks to a strong start to the season, the Knights are still just in the top five, but risk slipping out if they cannot turn things around against Shellharbour City on Sunday.
The Sharks suffered just their third loss of the season last week and their first against a team other than Warilla when they were edged out 34-32 by the Nowra-Bomaderry Jets.
As the scoreline indicates, there was very little in their loss to the Jets and could easily have gone either way, so they will not be feeling too disheartened by last week’s result.
The Sharks won last time the two teams met and should win again, unless Kiama are able to rediscover their form from earlier this season.
