Although it was a sunny afternoon, the wind felt like it was coming off the snow. This did not deter the spectators, with a large crowd gathering to watch the two games.
Dennis Beazley played Eddie Semevente with Eddie taking an early lead. He maintained this lead to win the game 31 – 13.
The other game was a close game with Phill Bowerman and new junior bowler, Anthony Fisher, neck and neck until the 20th end, the score 16-all.
Anthony kept Phill scoreless for the next seven ends, winning 16 shots, and the game 32 - 16. Eddie and Anthony are scheduled to play the final next weekend. Thank you to the markers, Corey Carter and Ted Sorenson.
Seven ladies braved the elements last Tuesday, July 8. Dianne Dawes (swinger), Pam Manning, Bev Young and Bev Fowler defeated Dianne Dawes (swinger), Joy Green, Joan Jagger and Lyn Byrne in an interesting game.
