WITH all the interruptions going on over the last three weeks there has not been a lot going on from at the Bomaderry Tigers Australian Football Club.

Congratulations to the successful senior representative team and to everyone involved, especially those players from Bomaderry (Matt Ganderton, Lachlan Jackman, Brent Herdman, Jack Hangan and Cameron Cullen) that were selected and did themselves and the club proud.
That particular weekend was also a huge weekend for the club with u16s games played at Artie Smith Oval on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.
A big thank you to everyone who helped out either on the sideline or in the canteen, with special mentions going to Heidi, Adam and Brett Conley and family for their efforts.
The last time the Tigers played was back on June 21.

This week both grades are finally back on the paddock with the Tigers taking on Shellharbour at Myimbarr Oval, which is across the road from the Shellharbour Workers Club.
It is an important game.
A few regular first graders are unavailable and Shellharbour has been travelling well of late, so the club needs everyone to turn up ready to go.
Reserve grade will be leaving the clubhouse at 10.15am, so if you need a lift or do not know how to get there, that is your opportunity.
Match day awards will be presented back at the Bridge Tavern on Saturday night between 6pm and 6.30pm, so please try and get there even if it’s only for half an hour.
With a little over three weeks remaining until the running of the 38th annual WHOOA Cup on August 2, it is time for you to organise your babysitters and round up your family and friends for what is always a great night out and undoubtedly the feature event on the social calendar.
While not compulsory, fancy dress is encouraged.
We can’t let Luke McCann continue to be one of the club’s best dressed race goers each year.
For those of you who have never been to a cup before, make sure to ask around as this is one event you don’t want to miss.
Ladies, there is also a presentation to “Miss WHOOA 2014”, so make sure you dress for the occasion and do not forget to wear a hat.
Cost is $5 a head, which includes supper and a race program.
The night kicks off at 6.30pm, so start organising your syndicates and make sure you get there nice and early before the bidding gets under way.
To further add to the occasion, this year the club is holding its Past Players Day on the same day as the WHOOA Cup.
Seeing as 2014 marks the 10th anniversary of the double premiership success in 2004 and the 20th Anniversary of its 1994 first grade flag, plus 25 years since the club captured its first first grade premiership, the club has done its best to try and contact those players involved and invite them back for the weekend. If you know of anyone who was around at the time or you have been involved with the club in any capacity, please feel welcome to pass the word and come along for what should be a great day and night of festivities.
For more information on club activities please contact Sticks on 0403 29 1231.
Until next week, go the Tigers.
