Your government has been reported as allocating up to $45 million for Vocational Training and Employment Centres (VTEC) to place up to 5000 indigenous Australians into specific jobs before July 2015.
I challenge you both to provide this very advice. How much of the $45 million has been spent in implementing the initiative? And how many of the 5000 placements will have been made by July 2015?
I have a feeling that this Affirmative Action initiative will cost plenty and would have the capacity to under-achieve. In doing so, will damage both of your prospects at the next election.
I also challenge the South Coast Register to provide a follow up story about the progress of this initiative come July 1, 2015, but I have a feeling the above challenges will not be taken up.
We will wait and see.
