Thursday's mountain bike ride saw 13 cyclists pedal from Emerys Road, Bugong, [five rode from North Nowra] out to the panoramic Coolendel Lookout along Lower Bugong Road.
The morning was cool but sunny with a fresh breeze.
The route was undulating with some great fast downhill sections.
The views were sharp of the Shoalhaven River, Camp Coolendel and the distant mountain ranges.
ON Sunday, July 13 SBUG riders will cycle to Comerong Island break wall and return.
It will be a 40 kilometre moderate paced ride with some traffic starting at 9am from the Nowra Visitors Centre.
Cyclists will ride along Comerong Island Road through Terara and Numbaa to the ferry.
They will then take the ferry across to the island and ride to the break wall at the southern end of Comerong Island and then return the same way.
A shorter ride of 24 kilometres can be had by starting the return journey at the ferry.
The ride will be from easy to medium difficulty and a mountain bike is required. Ride leader is Peter.

This Thursday's midweek mountain bike ride on July 10 will start at 9am from the Currarong Village shops, or for a shorter ride, from the Beecroft Weapons Range Gate at 9.30am.
It will be about a 30 kilometre easy, scenic, mountain bike ride to Point Perpendicular Lighthouse, then to Long Beach and return.
Cyclists will use bitumen with some traffic and unsealed roads.
Expect potholes and some sections of corrugations.
Thee may be an opportunity to see whales.
Bring water and snacks.
Coffee will be available after the ride.
