In the lead-up to the June 21 competition the wet weather again had organisers worried.
But the rain went away, the winds held off and competition day was warm and sunny - perfect weather for dressage.
Danielle Govier on Weltfrieden MM top scored for the day with 75.227 per cent in the preliminary 1.1.
Other riders to score over 70 per cent were Robyn Targa on Furst Fling, Felicia Mulligan on Nickshar Nomination, Lisa Swan on Divine Romance, Katie Umback on Gronskovlunds Marquis and Victoria Davies on Andaluka Elegido.
Long serving club president Gayle Loose recently retired so it was the new committee’s first time running a competition.
A presentation was held at lunch to thank former secretary Toni Crossley and Gayle for their years of service to the club.
Shoalhaven Dressage Club have a video night planned, watching and discussing dressage tests, at Berry Pub on July 25.
Details will be on the club’s website soon.
The next competition will be held on August 2.
