PERFECT conditions saw quality games of rugby league played at the Bomaderry Sporting complex last weekend with the Swamp Rats enjoying a fun filled day one of the school holidays.

ANJ Fabrications under 10s kicked off proceedings in fine style defeating Gerringong 38-6.
The Swamp Rats were on fire right from kick off after Calib McGillick caught the ball on the full to run right down the sideline and scored out wide then convert the try.
Calib then made it a double after he worked his way around the defence to score right under the post.
Drue Johnston played another strong game scoring a hat-trick of tries.
On each occasion he ran straight down the outside past the defence to score.
Drue converted the try.
Decon Johnston manoeuvred his way around the opposition to score two great tries.
Charlie Garrick received an offload and worked his way through the defence to score a try then went on to add the extra points.
Bomaderry Hotel under 11s played a close game against Warilla.
Great teamwork from the Swampies for the entire game gave them a 14-12 victory.
Adam Kirwin was a standout scoring three well deserved tries to seal the win for his team.
Alden Johnston converted a try during the game.
Bomaderry Bowling club under 12s secured a 20-10 win over Culburra.
The talents of Jake Locke were on display yet again when he outsmarted the defence on three occasions to score a hat-trick of tries.
Billy Usher was too strong, powering his way to the try line to score, and Ethan and Liam Cooke converted a try each during the game.
IGA North Bomaderry under 13s defeated St Georges Basin 44-26.
The Swampies took charge and lead from start to finish in their try scoring display.
John Reid was too strong, powering his way towards the try line twice to score a double, with the rest of the tries being shared about by various members.
Well done to Ben Worthington, Brayden Mackie-Swain, Jadon Martin, Ky Sims, Chaise Boulding, Jared Jankovic and Joseph Simpson as each of their tries were outstanding.
Bomaderry IGA u7 gold team were most impressive to defeat Sussex 30-14.
Try scoring machine Cooper Carson scored four fantastic tries.
Toby Dyball scored two great tries and converted one.
Brody Neasbey scored a great runaway try.
Shoalhaven Embroidery under 15s were defeated by Thirroul 26-12.
Tyson Simpson and Zac Remnant were the only try scorers, with Tyson converting two tries.
Cookes Truck and Tyre Center under 16s were defeated by Corrimal 28-nil.
Nowra Cranes under 8s were defeated by Batemans Bay 34-10.
Great work from Riley Ingram who secured two tries for the Swamp Rats.
Well done to Jackson Ingram who converted a try.
Mammas Italian Kitchen under 9s were also defeated by Batemans Bay 36-6.
Well done to Kyeden Booth, who scored and converted the only try for the swamp Rats.
ANJ Fabrications u7 blue team were defeated by Milton Ulladulla 30-6.
Well done to Jarrah Thomas who scored a great runaway try and went on to add the extra points.
A reminder to all players there will be no training in the first week of the school holidays.
Training will start back on Tuesday, July 8.
The club will hold a trivia night on Saturday, July 26 starting at 6.30pm at the Bomaderry RSL Club.
Cost is $10 per person with tables of eight.
This will be a great night filled with laughter, challenges and the odd game or two.
