Vincentia resident Gillian Lejsek is angry trees and shrubs planted by Shoalhaven City Council in a garden at Plantation Point have been removed for a second time.

Ms Lejsek was out on her usual morning walk with her dog when she came across the vandalism.
“Council gets a lot of criticism but they had done a great job in this case to establish the gardens, which are only designed to beautify the area,” she said.
“Council had been very particular in the trees and shrubs they chose for the gardens, only picking varieties that would grow to about 1.5m.
“Yet for a second time now, no sooner have they been planted and they have been stolen.”
She said the trees were only replanted last Tuesday, and by Thursday they were gone again.
“All that was left was the native grasses.
“How much has this blatant vandalism cost us, the ratepayers?
“Each tree must be worth between $70 and $80 and then there is the time and effort of the staff to plant the trees, now twice.”
Shoalhaven City Council said the cost to replace the trees was about $500.
