During the first six months of operation, the centre has provided more than 125 new courses of radiation therapy treatment to local residents, which equates to almost 2500 treatments.
Previously, these residents would have had to travel to Wollongong for this treatment.
More than 2300 chemotherapy treatments have also been provided from the new chemotherapy suite overlooking the Shoalhaven River.
