POLICE have staged a press conference in Nowra regarding the arrest of five men and one woman following a dramatic arrest by heavily armed officers from the tactical operations unit at the Bomaderry railway station on Tuesday evening.

Strike Force Lagul investigated a series of break, enter and steal offences in the Shoalhaven, with four men and one woman were arrested at the Bomaderry railways station, while a fifth man was arrested by police following search warrants in the Bay and Basin area.
The arrest were related to a number of aggravated break, enter and steal offences including two ram raids on service stations at Falls Creek and Wandandian and aggravated break, enter and steal at a tobacconist in Vincentia.
Detective Inspector Gary Hutchen from the SCC Property Crime Squad and Shoalhaven LAC crime manager Detective Inspector Mark Robinson addressed the media.
