The survey, run by IRIS, will target a random cross-section of the community over the coming week.
Mayor Joanna Gash said the survey will provide those called with an opportunity to identify the services and facilities they see as most important.
The results will help inform future delivery programs and resourcing priorities.
“Residents will be also asked to comment on issues regarding leadership, governance and community engagement,” Cr Gash said.
Council hopes to receive results by the end of July.
