Police are investigating an attempted robbery of the United Service Station in Sanctuary Point on Monday night.

At 9.20pm two men armed with knives entered the business on Larmer Avenue and attempted to open the cash register.
They were unsuccessful and fled after an alarm was activated.
Police said they were last seen jumping the fence at the back of the property.
One male is described as 175 cm tall and wearing a grey black hooded jumper, black pants and a black balaclava.
The second male is 187cm tall and was also wearing a grey black hooded jumper and black pants.
