It sounds like the start of a joke, but it really happened in South Nowra on Tuesday.
The goats wandered through the car park of Shoalhaven Shooting Supplies at South Nowra.
Owner Chris Forster and staff member Wayne Fitzsimmons stepped out of the store to film the animals.
Moments later they went into the shop.
“They went right in and crapped on the floor,” Mr Forster said.
“It’s pretty funny to see goats right here when hunters spend so much time looking for them.
“They came out of the bush next to the shops here. They didn't look like wild goats, they've probably come from a farm.
“When they came out of the shop they just wandered around the car park and then disappeared again,” he said.
Mr Forster said he had a number of goat attractant products in stock and thought they might have enticed the animals in.
