The works include the extension of the existing ramp to address a drop off at the submerged end of the ramp due to erosion and washout of the base of the ramp.
Shoalhaven Council has advised that alternative launching facilities are available at the Wharf Road Boat Ramp on the opposite side of the river or the Bomaderry Boat Ramp, which is accessed off Bolong Road.
The work will mean the boat ramp is ready for the upcoming school holidays.
