Police were on patrol at 2.40am when they saw a green Falcon sedan swerving along the Princes Highway near Parma Road at South Nowra.
They stopped the car and recognised the driver as also being wanted for breaching an AVO.
There were four other people in the car at the time, including the registered owner, a 28-year-old woman from North Nowra.
The boy was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station where he was charged with being an unlicensed driver, breaching an AVO and breaching bail.
He was unable to meet bail conditions and is being held in detention.
Police are making further enquiries in relation to the car’s owner.
