Allsorts’ Mel Boundy and Donna Hartenstein both celebrated hat-tricks with TJ Newton scoring two goals and Bianca Smith one.

Allsorts’ strong attack quickly had Heads on the back foot.

Heads defenders scrambled on many occasions to break down play.

Heads goalkeeper Carol Bond showed guts and determination by defending many shots at goal.

Heads had some periods of strong passing and support play but were quickly run down by the Allsorts defence.

Allsorts Green defeated Shoalhaven Heads Maroon 6-1.

Kristy Clement also celebrated a hat-trick for Allsorts Green.

This star recruit was also best on field, gaining the best and fairest points.

Kristy was joined by Toni Parrish and Elle Dodd, both showing strong positioning on the field.

Maroon’s only goal came from the individual brilliance of Bec Henning, who took the ball from the hit off to out-class Allsorts defenders and take on Allsorts’ goalie to score.

This Saturday will see Allsorts Green and Shoalhaven Heads Maroon have the weekend off in the women’s games.

However St Georges Basin White take on Allsorts Orange, and St Georges Basin Red will take on Shoalhaven Heads Blue.

Bluejays men will come up against Burrawang in the first round of men’s games.

The short passing style of both these teams should make for a fast and skillful game.

Shoalhaven Heads will be looking to pick up their second win for the season when they come up against St Georges Basin.

A win for Basin could see them pushing into fourth place on the ladder.

Allsorts will need their full strength side when they take on Kangaroo Valley.

Both teams are capable of scoring exciting goals and the difference will be in the defence.

The juniors will start the day at 10am with Kangaroo Valley taking on the mighty St Georges Basin, followed by Allsorts taking on Bluejays.

Next Wednesday the combined under 18s Shoalhaven/Kiama representative team will face Fairy Meadow at the Bernie Regan Sporting Complex.

Hit off is at 7pm.
