They produced top results, with each of the competing swimmers walking away with at least one personal best.
Congratulations especially to Lucy Graham, Indiana Graham and Tara Bellwood who achieved personal bests in each event.
Blake Calderon achieved five personal bests out of his six races, with Hannah Thompson, Noah Simpson and Felicity Hector each achieving personal bests in two events.
Felicity demonstrated her eagerness for swimming with a mammoth program of eight events on the day.
BBASC medallists at the carnival were Blake Calderon (silver in the boys 13 and over 50 metre backstroke), Noah Simpson (gold in the 9 to 10 years 25 metre butterfly) and Tara Bellwood (three gold in the girls 11 to 12 years 50 metre butterfly, 100 metre backstroke and the 100 metre freestyle in a time that added this event to Tara’s NSW County Championships program in July).
Good luck to all BBASC swimmers competing in the SESA winter championships this weekend in Ulladulla.
Please look out for these results and those of our swim club presentation night in next week’s South Coast Register.
