THE Warilla-Lake South Gorillas may be undefeated, but if there’s one team that can stop them, surely it is their conquerors from last year’s grand final; Gerringong.
The Lions may have a psychological edge after last year’s decider but the Gorillas have succeeded where they failed by beating Shellharbour and Kiama.
Both sides had more players than you could poke a stick at in last week’s representative team, so it remains to be seen what, if any affect it will have on their lineups this week.
But the game should be an absolute cracker, whether or not they are at full-strength.
There is plenty of history between the two sides in recent years and there is no doubt bragging rights are up for grabs once again.
The big question is: will the Gorillas finally meet their match, or get their revenge from last year’s grand final?
