ROAD rehabilitation works on The Wool Road, St Georges Basin near Deane Street and Braidwood Road near HMAS Albatross will be undertaken by Shoalhaven City Council in the next week.
Preparatory work will begin from Monday, May 19, with both projects expected to be completed by late June, weather permitting.
Lime stabilising contractors will be working at Braidwood Road between Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 3 followed by The Wool Road on Thursday, June 4 and Friday, June 5, weather permitting.
Temporary speed zones will be in place at both locations throughout the works while the roads will remain unsealed.
With surface conditions varying depending on the weather, council has urged motorists to drive safely and follow the directions of
traffic controllers during the works period.
It apologised for any inconvenience caused by the road works.
