While the Demons showed plenty of heart in the first quarter, where they only trailed 28-18, there were few highlights for the home side from then on.
Tigers full forward Brad Graham was near unstoppable up front, kicking six goals, while Brent Herdman and Brayden Varcoe also had accurate days with the boot.
The Nowra Blues are still in search of their first win of the season, after they fell well short of the mark against Shellharbour.
The Suns were led by an eight-goal haul from Brendan White, while his younger brother Kerrod chipped in with two goals in the 82-38 win.
Jordan Pearson was the best for a struggling Blues side, kicking four of their five goals for the match.
Defending premiers Wollongong met their match after they were downed 66-54 by Figtree at Keira Oval.
James Quinn and Fred David led the way with the boot for the Kangaroos, with three goals each to hand the Bulldogs their first loss of the season.
Over at Boanira Oval, the home side Kiama proved far too strong for the Port Kembla Blacks in a 106-point drubbing.
Travis Lothian kicked five goals for the Power and was well supported by Ricky Neels with four and Michael Williams with three, while Paul Bright kicked three for the visitors.
Next week will see another local derby in the Shoalhaven, with the Blues to host the Demons at West Street Oval, while Bomaderry are also at home against Wollongong.
Figtree host Northern Districts and Port Kembla will do battle with Shellharbour, while Kiama have the bye.
