Glenn Paul Robinson, 25, appeared briefly in Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday on a string of charges relating to the hold-up, as well as two other aggravated home invasions that occurred at Scarborough and Balgownie on April 2 and April 14, respectively.

Robinson did not apply for bail and it was formally refused.

Charge sheets presented to the court accuse Robinson of stealing $16,000 during the bowling club heist, which occurred on April 26.

He was charged with numerous firearm offences.

Police also claim during the Balgownie break-and-enter a week earlier, Robinson kidnapped one of the victims at gunpoint, drove his car to Warrawong while he was in it and forced the man to withdraw $7500 cash.

In early April, Robinson is alleged to have broken into a Scarborough home and intimidated its female owner before stealing cash, credit cards, a laptop computer and an iPad.

He is facing a total of 20 charges.

The case will return to court on June 11.
