Young players encouraged

SHOALHAVEN Hockey’s Hookin2Hockey program started this week.

It includes a mixture of skills training and modified games and is aimed at all primary school aged children, girls and boys.

Local coaches and players will be on hand to give tips and provide a fun environment for everyone to learn how to play hockey.

Hookin2Hockey runs on Thursday nights at 5.15pm to 6.30pm and will run through to the end of August.

The cost for the 14 week program is $50, with an additional cost of $30 for a hockey pack that includes a new hockey stick, ball and shin pads.
