This week the RMS has been on site installing pedestals that will house pedestrian road crossing push button assemblies.
Other stage-two work to be done over the next few months includes the installation of bollards to keep traffic out of pedestrian areas.
Modifications will be made to the threshold at both ends of Junction Court to allow for vehicles.
And a series of tactile indicators will be installed on the pavement to notify people with sight impairment they are approaching a road.
