The Eagles have lost three on the trot since their opening round victory, while the Bulldogs sit on the bottom of the ladder, despite picking up their first win against Berry last week.
The Eagles have clearly felt the absence of star halfback Matt Carroll, who hasn’t been seen since the opening round and will be looking to their experienced older heads like Sean Jenkins and Derek and Dean Gray for guidance.
While the Bulldogs start to the season was less than impressive, now they have got the monkey off their back, they will be hoping there are plenty more wins around the corner.
The likes of Gary Warburton, Adam Bliss, Mitch Simington and Luke Young have been in good form for the Bulldogs and if they are on their game, the Dogs have a good chance of putting together back to back wins.
