The stud recently relocated and because of a lack of facilities, fielded the smallest team they have ever entered.
Despite this, young Ebony Johnson was determined to compete and her team embarked on a journey to Sydney at 3am to compete in led classes with two ponies.
The mighty but small Shambala Park Hugo won his class for the second year in a row.
Broodmare Isabel went out and competed well for fifth in a strong class.
The winner of this class was the eventual Supreme Led Pony.
A couple of days later the team headed up to Sydney again with their veteran of the show, Shambala Park Midas.
Ebony and Midas strutted out to compete in the junior driver in harness.
Ebony drove Midas confidently and gained the judge’s eye in a strong field of competitors.
For the second year in a row the duo placed second.
The finale for the “dynamic blondes” came in competing in the Light Harness Evening Turnout Parade.
This class has all breeds of light harness horses competing in costumes that coincide with the era of the vehicle they are driving.
Despite not being able to compete with the thousands of dollars in beautifully restored historic vehicles, Ebony and Midas enjoyed themselves and the opportunity to go out in the main arena once again, dress up and have some fun.
