The briefing will be at the Nowra Library, in Berry Street, on Monday May 12 between 11.30am and 1.30pm.
The Arts and Cultural Development Program is being introduced for the 2014-15 financial year, replacing the previous Arts Funding Program, following a review in 2013.
Local artists and arts organisations from across the region are encouraged to apply for funding under the Arts and Cultural Development Program for 2015.
Organisations applying for program funding will have to deliver activities that engage people from at least one of the program’s priority areas.
The areas include people living or working in regional NSW, people living or working in Western Sydney, Aboriginal people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, young people and people with disability.
This briefing will be the opportunity for local community groups to learn more about the grants, the types of grants available, tips for a successful application. There will also be a questions and answers session.
RSVP to attend the briefing by phoning 9995 0484.
