SHOALHAVEN police are appealing for public assistance as part of a search for a missing 32-year-old woman from a camping area at Yalwal, west of Nowra.

Police said the woman disappeared from the camping area off Yalwal Road around 7pm on Tuesday.
Police were alerted to the missing woman at 9.30am Wednesday with a land and air search carried out by Police Rescue, SES, police motorcycles and Lifesaver 3 helicopter.
Police have serious concerns for the welfare of the woman and are asking for public assistance from anyone that may have picked up or seen a woman on Yalwal Road, Yalwal between 7pm Tuesday and this Wednesday morning.
She is described as 32 years of age, red hair, solid build, wearing a red shirt, black shorts and thongs.
