With the Sharks spending the last five years in the Illawarra, they haven’t had the chance to play for five years, but there is certainly no love lost between the two clubs.
The Eagles will be looking to bring the same form that saw them beat Port Kembla in the opening round as they look to rebuild after a disappointing 2013.
Having a bye so early on may not play to their advantage, but it is not likely to matter once they get out on the field.
Their halfback Matt Carroll has not been named, which is a set back as he was one of their best against Port Kembla, but they will still hope to be competitive.
Shellharbour bounced back from a loss their arch rivals Warilla-Lake South with a win against defending premiers Gerringong last week.
The Sharks have come back to Group 7 with a point to prove and beating Gerringong, will have sent their opponents a message, but they will be wanting to continue their winning ways to show they are one of the teams to beat this season.
