THE St Vincent de Paul Society is holding a Winter Appeal Gala Dinner at the Bomaderry Bowling Club on Saturday, May 3 from 7pm.

In the past six months, the society has assisted nearly 18,000 people in the Shoalhaven with basic support including food, clothing, furniture, payment of utility bills, rental assistance and medical expenses.
The gala dinner is a smart dress occasion at $55 per person early bird tickets until Friday, April 11 and $60 thereafter.
Ticket purchases cut off from Thursday, April 24 so get yours early to ensure you don’t miss out on the great evening which includes a three course meal and entertainment.
Raffles, Mother’s Day balloon sales and silent auctions will also take place.
All funds raised will be used to help maintain services at the Jim Da Silva farm in West Nowra for single adult men, with significant mental health issues.
The St Vincent de Paul Society has a number of services in the Shoalhaven aiding disadvantaged people including: the Vinnies food van and crisis accommodation in Nowra; medium term accommodation in West Nowra, for single adult males with significant mental health issues; holiday flats in Gerroa and Mollymook for disadvantaged families and individuals and budget counselling in Nowra and Ulladulla.
