KANGAROO Valley duo Leon Rebbeck and Gabby Murphy have won the 2014 Jetts Superchallenge.
Sixteen of the Shoalhaven Tennis Club’s best juniors battled it out for the club’s biggest junior title of the year.
Leon Rebbeck went through his five matches with little trouble, not dropping a set.
Leon played Lachlan Mathie in the final winning 6/3, 6/4.
The second set got a little tight at the end with Lachlan fighting hard, but Leon held his nerve.
Lachlan had a great win in the semis, defeating last year’s winner Justin Pritchard 10/5 in the third set match tie break.
Final positions saw Leon Rebbeck in first, Lachlan Mathie second, Justin Pritchard third, Aten Morris fourth, Harrison Graham fifth, Patrick Muller sixth, Ryan Borland seventh and James Phillips eighth.
Gabby Murphy won her third Superchallenge title.
Gabby battled Cambewarra’s Sophie Phillips for the title.
Gabby won the first set 6/2 in aggressive fashion.
The second set was tight and at 5/4 to Gabby, Sophie had half a dozen break points.
Gabby grabbed the match on her third match point.
Final positions had Gabby Murphy first, Sophie Phillips second, Sascha Murphy third, Brooke Walker fourth, India Schreiber fifth, Jacinta Smith sixth, Emma Bramley seventh, Sienna Bauman eighth.
