Earlier this year trucking companies raised the issue with local media and South Coast MP Shelley Hancock.
Mrs Hancock asked Roads and Maritime Services to review the roundabout to ensure it met Australian road design guidelines.
The RMS found no problem with the roundabout.
An RMS spokesperson said the audit was carried out in February and found the roundabout complied with RMS Design Guide and Austroads guidelines.
However work to move fencing back from the highway is being planned to improve sight distance for motorists.
