A MAN accused of allegedly assaulting a woman after breaking into her house in East Nowra has been committed for sentencing in Nowra District Court on May 26.

Steven Michael Ogden, 35, of Young Avenue, Nowra appeared before Magistrate Dr Gabriele Fleming in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday over the incident on November 19.
Police alleged Ogden went to a Wallace Street address, forced his way into the house and assaulted a woman.
He was charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault.
Other issues including drive a vehicle, losing traction and drive while suspended will also be considered at that time.
Ogden did not apply for bail, which was formally refused by Magistrate Fleming.
The matter is set for sentencing at Nowra District Court on May 26.
