The Preston family cleaned up on most sections fished leaving only a few prizes up for grabs for the other remaining fishermen who fished.
It seems that every time the Ex-Servos have their competition weekend on the weather seems to be too rough for the outside fishermen, leaving it to the estuary fishermen to lead the way.
The results for competition nine are as follows:
Sub-juniors – winner Riley Preston, runner-up Kalem Preston.
Beach – winner Tracey Smith, runner-up Ray Smith.
Estuary – winner Josh Preston, runner-up Mitchel Preston.
Deep-sea – winner Barry Preston, runner-up Matt Moon.
Ladies – winner Samone Preston.
Freshwater – Sandy Singleton.
The weekend away turned out to be a great success with all who attended having a great weekend.
It is hoped that another one will be arranged in the near future.
Once again, thanks to Tracey Smith and the many helpers for a job well done on this occasion.
Competition 10 for the Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen’s Fishing Club will be held on April 12 and 13 with the fish of the month being tailor.
Until next competition, good fishing.
Ray.
