ULLADULLA United batsman Harley Bell notched up his second century for the season to cap off a good day for his side against Nowra at Nowra Showground.
The visitors made the most of the absence of Michael Coulter, Alex Legge and Daniel Bryant from the Nowra attack, to reach a strong score of 4/228 at stumps.
Rhys Fagerlund picked up the first two wickets for the home side, with Terry Dorrel falling cheaply, while Michael Devlin played a nice cameo of 27.
Wes Holmes was in a similar aggressive mood, smashing four fours and a six, before departing for 26.
With the score at 4/111, Bell was joined in the middle by Dan Beasley and the two of them did a good job of frustrating the Nowra bowlers.
Bell took to the bowlers, while Beasley held up his end as they batted until stumps, compiling an unbroken partnership of 117.
Bell hit six fours and two sixes on his way to an unbeaten 107, while Beasley finished on 29 at stumps.
It was the second time Bell had made 100 this season, following his match-winning 159 not out against Bay and Basin in round two.
Rhys Fagerlund took two wickets, but was expensive for his 2/56 for Nowra, while Justin Weller and Chris Nation were made to bowl plenty of overs and took a wicket each.
