The expo will be staged at the Fleet Air Arm Museum and will include interactive displays, information from local community organisations, sporting and recreational groups and activities for defence families.
Event organiser Lieut-enant Commander Liz Waddell said the expo was designed to showcase the Shoalhaven.
“It is the chance to show new defence families to the area what is available locally and there is a huge amount,” Lt-Cdr Waddell said.
“The expo also allows current defence families to see what is available in the Shoalhaven and provide other avenues of integration into our local community.”
Food stalls and entertainment will also be staged throughout the day.
Organisers expect between 400 and 500 defence families to attend the expo.
